The approval workflow

How drafts move from generated to live.

Last updated April 30, 2026

The four states

draft → in_review → approved → published
                 ↘ revisions_requested → draft
  • Draft. Just generated or being edited.
  • In review. Submitted for reviewer feedback.
  • Approved. Cleared to publish. Auto-publish workspaces ship from this state.
  • Revisions requested. Reviewer left notes; goes back to Draft for auto-revision or manual edits.
  • Published. Live on the destination.

Who can do what

  • Editors and admins create drafts and submit for review.
  • Reviewers and admins approve or request revisions.
  • Editors and admins publish (or auto-publish handles it).

Reminders

If a draft sits in review for more than 48 hours, we send the reviewer a reminder email. If it sits for 5+ days, we ping the workspace owner. You can disable this in Settings → Notifications.

Bulk operations

From the content list, select multiple items to bulk-approve, bulk-request-revisions, or bulk-publish. Useful when you generate a week's worth of LinkedIn posts at once.
